Law Firm Changchun successfully completed a transaction in which Kakao Games Corp. participated in a third-party allocation capital increase by XL Games Inc., subscribing for KRW 10 billion worth of common shares.
The transaction is significant in that, alongside making a strategic investment (SI) in XL Games, Kakao Games secured the publishing rights to the new mobile game "Moonlight Sculptor," based on the intellectual property (IP) of the novel of the same name.
Changchun played a significant role throughout the transaction, providing comprehensive advice not only on the new share subscription but also on the domestic and international game publishing agreements for "Moonlight Sculptor" and other titles.
