On September 12, 2017, Coinone became the world's first cryptocurrency exchange to open a comprehensive offline blockchain center, "Coinone Blocks."
Coinone Blocks embodies Coinone's vision for blockchain, cryptocurrency and the future of finance, and will serve as a place for "sharing information about blockchain and cryptocurrency, offering convenient support for Coinone's services, and acting as a hub for the blockchain ecosystem."
This may run counter to a market in which conventional financial institutions are reducing their branch networks, but the aim is to make blockchain and cryptocurrency technology better known and more approachable.
